Steph reports rising anxiety as Warriors struggle with consistency.

The Warriors have lost five of their past seven games and are 17-19 on the season.

Golden State's 133-118 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday at Chase Center prompted star point guard Steph Curry to ponder.

"The concern level grows [with] the more nights like tonight that you have," Curry told reporters after shooting 2 of 14 and missing a 3-pointer in the defeat. "I need to play better, be more efficient, start early, and give us life.

"My nature when things get hard, look at what you can do better, so I'm going to stay there and respond the way I know how to do."

Curry lauded Klay Thompson's 25 points and "giving everything he had" in the defeat, despite his shooting woes this season. While Draymond Green's lengthy absence didn't help, Steve Kerr's rotations have shifted this season as he seeks to find the proper mix of experience and kids, and Curry feels Golden State has struggled to gel.

"We're mixing up some lineups; that is the challenge for us, like we say, is to find chemistry and to find an identity as fast as possible with the hand we've been dealt this year," Curry said. We blew the test tonight.

That doesn't mean Wednesday you don't feel good, confident, and ready to bounce back, and then you do it again. "I don't want to be the broken record up here, but that's the challenge for us."

Green's return is expected to bolster the Warriors' defense and identity. They'll need to settle nerves before hosting the New Orleans Pelicans at Chase Center on Wednesday.
