Panthers reveal nine head coaching candidates, eight for G.M.

The Panthers have revealed their list of potential general manager and nine coaching candidates for interviews.

After dismissing head coach Frank Reich on November 27, the club sacked G.M. Scott Fitterer on Monday. They are now looking to find a replacement.

The nine head coaching candidates are as follows: Ben Johnson of the Lions, Bobby Slowik of the Texans, Brian Callahan of the Bengals,

 Dan Quinn of the Cowboys, Mike Macdonald of the Ravens, Frank Smith of the Dolphins, Raheem Morris of the Rams, Todd Monken of the Ravens, and Dave Canales of the Buccaneers.

Morris and Quinn are both seasoned head coaches; in 2016, Quinn led the Falcons to the Super Bowl.

Eight candidates are being considered for the position of general manager: Mike Greenberg of the Buccaneers, Brandt Tilis of the Chiefs, 

Alec Halaby of the Eagles, Khai Harley of the Saints, Nick Matteo of the Ravens, Ed Dodds of the Colts, and Champ Kelly of the Raiders.
